Fitness Photography for Coaches and Athletes in Edinburgh

For those who have built the body, now it’s time to build the brand.

Your Body Tells a Story. I Help the World See It.

You’ve put in the work. In the gym. In the kitchen. In your mindset.
Now it’s time to make that work visible. Powerful. Unforgettable.

Because if your photos don’t stop the scroll, they are stopping your growth.

This Is More Than a Photo. It’s Proof.

If you’re a coach, you are selling transformation.
If you’re an athlete, you are showcasing discipline.
In both cases, you are asking people to believe in you.

And people believe what they can see.

Bad lighting flattens your physique.
Weak angles hide your results.
Generic gym selfies blend into the background.

You’ve built something exceptional. Now it’s time to show it that way.

Why This Is Not Like Other Fitness Shoots In Edinburgh

Edinburgh has no shortage of photographers. What it has very few of is photographers who actually train, who understand what a calorie deficit does to how you look on camera, who know the difference between shooting a competitor in peak week and shooting a coach who needs content that converts.

That’s the difference. Whether you’re based in the New Town, Bruntsfield, Stockbridge, or Leith — I know the city, I know the locations, and I know exactly how to make your shoot work.

Choose the Session That Matches Your Goal

Ideal for trainers and fitness professionals who need high-impact photos for Instagram, websites and funnels.
Capture your authority and show what makes you different.

Perfect for competitors, strength athletes and anyone who has worked toward a peak moment.
Reveal the discipline. Capture the power.

You can shoot together or individually and leave with a complete set of visual proof that your system delivers results.

Frequently Asked Questions — Fitness Photography Edinburgh

Where is the studio based?
Fitness Soul, 34 Tennant Street, Leith, EH6 5NA. Easy to reach from across the city, with parking on the street. If you’re coming by public transport, it’s a short walk from Leith Walk.

Can we shoot outdoors in Edinburgh?
Yes. Edinburgh has some of the best outdoor locations for fitness photography in Scotland. Arthur’s Seat is dramatic and instantly recognisable. Portobello Beach works well for early morning shoots with a coastal feel. The Old Town closes and Leith waterfront both give you strong, characterful backdrops. Outdoor locations are included in the Epic session or can be added to the Pro — just mention it when you get in touch.

How far in advance should I book?
Most clients book two to three weeks ahead. Edinburgh sessions fill faster than anywhere else, especially around competition season and summer. If you’re planning a launch, a peak week shoot, or working toward a specific deadline, book as early as you can.

I’m a personal trainer in Edinburgh just starting out. Is this right for me?
Yes. Some of my best shoots have been with coaches six months into their business who are just starting to take their brand seriously. You don’t need a big following first. Getting professional images early means you build with the right foundations from day one instead of catching up later.

What should I wear and bring?
You’ll receive my free prep guide as soon as you book. It covers exactly what to wear, how to prepare your body, what to eat on the day, and how to make sure you look and feel your best in front of the camera. Nothing is left to guess.

Can we shoot at my gym in Edinburgh?
Yes. If you have your own training space and want to shoot there, that works well — especially for coaches who want their clients to see the environment. Confirm with the gym first and let me know the setup. I’ll make it work.

Do you shoot fitness events in Edinburgh?
Yes. Races, competitions, gym open days, obstacle events — if it’s fitness-related and it’s happening in Edinburgh or the Lothians, I’m interested. Get in touch with the details and I’ll come back with availability and pricing.

What’s included in the price?
All sessions include posing and expression guidance throughout, professional editing, and online delivery via a private gallery. You need zero photography experience — that’s my job. Prices start at £230.

  • If you’re planning a launch, challenge or prep cycle, reserve your spot early.

Coach. Athlete. Photographer. Storyteller.

Hey, I’m Leszek, founder of Arctic Fox Pictures.

I’m a personal trainer, triathlon coach and photographer based in Edinburgh, originally from Poland. For more than 15 years I’ve helped people transform their bodies and minds through fitness. I’ve completed Ironman triathlons, swum the English Channel and lifted heavy things for fun. Fitness is not a job for me, it is how I live.

Photography started as a side project. I took my camera to events, training sessions and competitions just because I enjoyed it. But I saw something missing in most fitness photos: the emotion, the power, the real story behind the sweat.

I wanted to change that.

That is why I started Arctic Fox Pictures. To give coaches, athletes and everyday legends images that celebrate who they are and what they have worked for.

I do not do stiff poses or fake smiles. I capture movement, strength and emotion, whether you are smashing a kettlebell set, running through the rain or standing proud in your own skin.

A bit about me:

  • I run a community gym in Edinburgh called Fitness Soul, where fun, sweat and friendship come first.

  • I love dogs, cold water swims and long runs with no plan.

  • I believe everyone is an athlete, they just need the right environment to thrive.

  • I named this business after the Arctic fox because it is resilient, adaptable and thrives in extremes, just like the people I love to photograph.

Let’s create something bold and honest, together.
